October & November Entertainment Picks

Hi dearest visitor!

I am starting with a new series, monthly entertainment picks like movies and series to watch, magazines and books to read. I'll break it down for you so this is easy to scan through.

We Were Never Here by Andrea Bartz

This book is genius, thrilling and eye opening all at once. Two best friends travel together but shit has gone down! They learn how to cope with it but most of all learn a lot about each other... Gave the book to a friend, so curious to hear what she thinks.

Netflix

The Chestnut Man

This one is thrilling and original! I have watched so much crime and true crime but loved this one, kept me at the edge of my seat. I also found out that when you're watching a series of movie in a foreign language like this one, it's so much better for your focus, because if you don't watch and read the subtitles, you're lost.

Downton Abbey

Don't shoot me, I have never watched Downton Abbey before. My mom is a huge fan and so I caved and let me tell you, it is SO worth it! Adored every second of it, it's a calm, sweet, lovely and classy TV serie. If you need a break from all the crime, drugs, shooting, sex, go for Downton Abbey.

Luis Miguel: The Series

This one is for all the Luis Miguel, latin music fans. As a huge fan of Miguel's music, I was looking forward a lot for the final season of the series. The series give a very detailed insight of the artist's life. And the final series are about just a few years ago so super recent, very well done. Diego Boneta plays his roll pretty well, to think I once was at a beach in Mexico next to Diego and never went over to say hi, I was a fool!

Disney+

Only Murders in The Building

Crime but make it Disney, my two favourites things combined! One for the crime fans but who like a twist, for some reason it's so obvious these series are made by Disney, it has this familiarity to it which I loved.

Prime Video

Homecoming

Eerie, strange and interesting. Watch it yourself and let's discuss!

Modern Love

So comforting! Like Downton Abbey, I enjoy the slow kind of series a lot too. It's just easy to watch and the stories of this one are all so real. Inspired by stories of The New York Times' colomn, Modern Love.

Nine Perfect Strangers

Please let's discuss this one too! So strange but so good. The weirdness of it and the unusual things happening, I dig it!
